OK, now I'm just really pissed and pretty much fed up with SH.
I decided that I had to uninstall and reinstall SH (again), and now the effing thing won't let me sign in. Of course, you can't do shit with out signing in, right? Apparently my password isn't a match to my user name. I can't create a new account, and it doesn't offer me a way of recovering my password, either.
Really great app but I'm REALLLLY tired of constantly having to mess with it. I've wasted more time dicking around with SH than with ROMs.

Well... that 's why its called a beta and a preview. The download page does mention that there are still plenty of bugs.

I know how you feel, though. I've wrestled a bit with it as well.

I should also add that I haven't had the sort of trouble you had. SH2 has been consistently functional most of the time and, unfortunately, consistently buggy in some cases.

If I had the kind of trouble you had with it I'd be much more frustrated. I just wanted to point out that your experience of SH2 is not common. SH2 works very well (for a beta) for most folks. I have no idea why it didn't run well on your machine.

Hopefully the final version of SH2 will be a better experience for you.

The app is so complex because it offers so much. It takes so much time to set up, so when it crashes or "breaks", it's a real bummer. I've shown my Droid home screen lay out to other Droid owners and they're blown away by how functional it is. It's basically 9 (was 12) springboard buttons that bring up specific app trays. I'm currently not even doing anything with all the other screens. They want to know where they can get it, and they flip when I say I designed it!
For me, SH is a bit like crack for my Droid. I can't imagine my Droid without it now. I've been running it since a week after I got the phone in early December.

SH seems to be restarting every time I try to add an app to one of the trays in my theme. The trays are all blank now, of course, since I reinstalled it, and now I have access to NO apps! It won't even allow me to add the "All Apps" tray on another screen without restarting.

Ehh. I just can't do it anymore. It's making me so mad, I wanna throw my phone, I'm so disgusted.

I created a new account here, and successfully logged into SH on my phone, but still the same problem. Restarts whenever I try to add an app to a tray, or even add the Apps Tray to the theme. Different themes make no difference. Uninstalled and reinstalled previous versions of SH, all the same thing.

Don't really know what the hell to do now. This is taking up far too much of my time. I've got over 8 hours just messing around with it. It's gone beyond rediculous.
I hope someone can point me in the right direction on this.

Is it simply becoz you have far too many app trays that SH2 can handle? Try to scale down your number of app tray perhaps?

SH2 has been great~ but the major constraint still being the resource handling --- it's eating far too much of my ram --- killing SH2 in my taskkiller can free me up like 20ish MB! Now I have to switch back to the classic interface whenever I wanna do some serious gaming or alike....

And I really hope you're saving your theme to SD? Then you don't need to keep rebuilding or repopulating you custom trays?
