There are some issues.

Running the latest FRF57 build of Froyo on a Droid A855.

After importing my .slx theme file, I'm getting a bunch of errors when attempting to edit my theme and I can't change wallpaper.
I tested out another theme that I just grabbed from the repo and I don't get the errors but I still can't change wallpaper.

I'll be playing with this all day, if I find any other bugs, I'll post them.

I'm going to fire up a 2.2 in the emulator and see if the same issues occur.

Looks like the error was due to some missing images that were in the theme. All fixed now. I was able to change my wallpaper too. So far, so good.

Sweet! I can confirm that it hauls ass on my Nexus One. Good to hear it's OK on Droid too. Any noticeable improvements?

It's definitely faster but I'm not sure if that's the ROM or because I'm running at 1 ghz now. I was only running at 800 mhz on eclair. I'll back it down to stock speeds and see if I notice a difference.

I have just flashed Kangerade V1.0, and most seems to be OK, but I have found one issue so far.

I have a shortcut to a contact in a Custom Tray, and every time I click it I get an error:

"The process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

I have deleted and re-added the shortcut, but still have the issue. No problem with contact shortcuts in the stock home for that ROM.

I have SH build 801 running on Bugless Beast 0.2.1 Froyo ROM and everything seems fine with the exception of the contact acore force close mentioned above.

The weird thing is that the latest build (eclair 811) is completely unstable both on stock droid 2.1 and froyo. In both cases the theme will not load widgets and bitmaps at various times. I get tons of "an error have occured, please report it" messages. Uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and rebuilt my theme from scratch and nothing helped. I rolled back to 801 and it's fine although all of my icons in my custom trays had to be readded.

My theme is not complex -- for reference I accidently uploaded it to the theme site...search for patrick2d.

It contains only two widgets (touchdown calendar and the power control). It does have about 10 custom app trays and one large bitmap that covers the whole screen. This is my way of using sweeterhome to replace the car home app.

Performance wise, it is running a bit faster under froyo. I am only running at 800 Mhz, though. My main performance issue has always been the display time when returning to the home screen from an app. It usually lags 3 seconds, sometimes up to 10 seconds. (E.g. in Slacker Radio and hit the home key...wait 3-4 seconds and the home screen is rendered. Wait 1-2 more seconds and the power control widget is rendered.)

can I just say I am on froyo (FroydVillian 1.4.4 with custom kernel) and sweeter home run perfectly, I have only had one FC in 3 days and I've been designing my own theme. It has come up with error, and please post bug report, but it doesnt actually cause any problems! it might also I'm using a HTC Hero (G2 touch) and its only overclocked to 691 and it runs like sh*t off a shovel!

Still it would be nice to have a froyo version... if possible?
