what is my android version

Added by got_junk over 1 year ago

I've been doing some research for home alternatives. Still skeptic about which to use. Sweeter Home2, however, has had some good reviews. So I think I will give it a shot. My question is, how do I know what Android version is my phone operating? It's a Motorola Cliq purchased last Feb. Seems like a pretty important factor for all the home alternatives on the market. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, John

Cliq came with 1.5 but has had an update to 2.1. Depends if you got the update or not.

Got to Menu > Settings > About Phone

In there should be Firmware Version if I remember correctly. Should say Donut (1.5), Cupcake (1.6), Eclair (2.1), or Froyo (2.2). Don't think Cupcake or Froyo were ever available on the Cliq. If you are still running Donut, I'd highly recommend going to your store and getting the update to Eclair. It does add in some nice things, and has quite a few fixes.
