Quick theme flipper

Added by cowpoke about 2 years ago

Be nice to be able to put a trigger on your screen to either bring up a list of themes on your sd card, or hardwire a button directly to a particular theme on your sd card.

I'd like to create a car home theme with larger buttons and only the apps I need, maybe even 2 car home themes, a day one and a night one. Be nice to be able to set up a button somewhere to tap and it instantly switches themes.

You can do this now man, but only with themes on the net.

If you've uploaded your theme to the Sweeter Home theme list, then use the Advanced Action tray and link using the following URL structure:

sweeterhome://ws.sweeterhome.com/themes/content/UserName/ThemeName

I'll have to give that a shot when I get the 3 themes created (and my login issue figured out), thanks.

Sweet that works pretty well. A bit of a slow way to flip themes (having to DL every time) but it does the trick well enough.

I'm betting that later someone will find a way to pull those themes from the SDcard in a similar manner. This should work. Just need to find the correct command.

Try recording your logcat while changing the theme (and, activating one from the SDcard). When the new theme is installed search through the logcat for the intent command. If someone is experienced enough they might find what we need.
