I've thought about this before too! It's not possible, but might be in future - widgets are very tricky at the moment due to the Android Widget framework.

But wouldn't it be possible to have something like the following:
Text Block with content controlled by Action--Advanced Blocks
set each Action--Advanced Block to add a particular # to the Text String
include Action--Advanced Blocks to backspace or send the call.

Not really possible in current sweeter home, but wouldn't this situation work with minimal reprogramming?

All it would really take on SH is to have a URI to edit the text of a Text Block, the URI to send info to the dialer app to make a call already exists

I had a similar idea for building a custom set of Action--Advanced blocks to control the built in media player. I just don't know enough URI code to do it yet.

I see this is an old thread, but it's the first one on the topic I found with a search, and I don't know if SH2 is new enough to have these features. I'll keep searching.

There is a widget called PhoneWidget that works along these lines, but it looks like garbage imo.
