A button in options that lets you select weather app scanning is automatic or manual, and then a second button that says "scan apps" so you can do it manually; also having it scan apps only after install/uninstall would be greatly appreciated :)

I'm pretty sure it only scans after you a) install/remove apps and b) add apps to a certain tag etc.

I do not know exactly when it scans on mine, but it is much more often than that.

It cause an unneeded lag of 5-10 seconds (i know not killer but when I need to make a fast phone call it sucks) when I hit the home button. I even turned off the Auto sync, but it still scans from time to time.

Mine scans constantly for no apparent reason periodically, whenever there is heavy memory usage or a system crash.

I thought I might resurrect this because this is an issue on my computer. It does a "scanning apps" quite frequently, and certainly not just when I make an adjustment to my apps.
