Hide Notification Bar

Added by e4eric almost 2 years ago

Notification Bar as a rule destroys the overall design consistency for almost all dark themes.

Is it possible to hide the notification bar, and have a button control to unhide / expand the notification bar / windows, something like the implementation as in Home++?

Better still, is it possible to skin the notification bar through sweeter home implementation?

Overall I love SweeterHome! Thanks for all the works!

Yeah, there is an open feature request for this, but I think it's probably a little while away.

if you are using cyanogen you can use the enoch theme and it makes it look a lot nicer. But do backups.

I would still like to see a hide notification bar feature though.

So something to consider, coz I'm sure this will happen eventually, is:

The screen res on a Magic, for example, is 320*480px. The visible screen size used in Sweeter Home is 455 (due to 15px for the notifications bar). So what happens with that spare space when you hide the menu bar?

Automatic scaling perhaps? As in the implementation in Home++?

Yeah, I figured pixel scaling might be the way to do it. As long as it was nice and seamless.

I'm searching for! It wold be very nice if this would be possible. My Homescreen with Sweeterhome is such nice and i wouldn't change back to home++ to hide the notification bar.
