I whole heartedly agree. THANK YOU!! This is what I've been longing for ever since I picked up my Droid. Complete customization is the best thing anyone could have done. This community is one of the best around as well. The ability for all to freely distribute their own themes expands possibilities of what the individual can do. I look forward to the future of SH.

Couldn't agree more. Once the kinks are worked out the number of themes and diversity of them will overshadow all other homescreen replacements. Heck in many ways I'd like to see this become a core part of Android.

Thanks for making my phone like crack... Cant put it down... Losing sleep over editing... Really, a big 'WOW' and praise to the Dev for cooking this thing up. Youve got a real winner on your hands and Im sure we're all very excited to have gotten our hands on this preview. Looking forward to the full public release.

I wanna Thank you for the app too!.. its the best home replacement ive ever had (since SH-1) on my phone.. but dont get upset if the app doesnt have the best rate in the market.. meny people will find the app too complicated IMHO.. but for the geeky, this thing will be the bomb!!.. thanks for the great work man!

I want to add a huge thanks to the developer(s) and everyone involved in creating/updating SH2. What an incredible home replacement, bugs be damned. This is an absolutely incredible tool and blows all the other home replacements out of the water. The ability to customize pretty much everything is phenomenal and a testament to the developer(s) and everyone who is involved in working on this project. I certainly hope that any questions, issues, or posts I make concerning bugs or FCs or whatever are taken within the context that I am in awe of the usability and flexibility of this program. Short-term frustrations aside when I do post about issues do not in any way indicate my level of satisfaction with SH2, which is extremely high. I'm just happy to be a small part of fixing the issues that do exist, and I appreciate that opportunity.

Agreed. I've said this before in other threads, but I think SH2 represents how ALL touch interfaces should work. There may be better concepts out there but this is the best thing that's real now.

I know that UI standardization is a good thing: makes work easier, can switch from machine to machine without having to relearn the interface, etc. But SH2 is the best thing I've seen so far for creating touch based interfaces and could (easily) represent a new trend in UI design.

It has a ways to go, as the dev knows better than anybody, but this is groundbreaking stuff. Its not just "themes" and reskinning a canned UI- it's putting a decent amount of UI creation into the hands of the user. No GUI (other than maybe X for those poor souls who spent DAYS tweaking their fvwm config files...) has attempted to offer this level of interface customizability.

If it can be implemented well... this idea is gold.

Amazing! I've had this for 1 day now and can not put my phone down. Congratulations and Thank You. I struggled with deciding between native Sense and Launcher Pro or ADW. Now, there's no contest. SH2 is just simply amazing. Evo with SH2!
