Actually, its only been 3.5 weeks :)

Typically, new releases show up about every 2 months. Did you start using it in the middle of June? Because there were a lot of releases over about 5 days. Mostly bug fixes because of a couple major updates (like new way to see themes, and the clock/date widgets). But once it is stable, you won't see another update until there is some big things being put in. Little bugs, like a fix to the clock widget (see my post in new features discussion), are not enough. Some dev's like to publish new releases every 2 days just to get back on the "new release" section of the market I think. This being a beta, I believe (granted I'm not the dev, so this is just my opinion), the dev would rather publish every couple months with big updates, then kill his bandwidth pushing out new releases that have to be manually updated every few days.

I think if more people posted findings, both good and bad, and got more discussion on the forums, it would also be helpful.

There's also the issue of his day job getting in the way of SH from time to time as well.

See, day jobs always get in the way of good, clean fun.

I agree. He should quit his day job.

But then we would have to pay for SH, so.... guess we will just have to be patient.

And as if right on cue... New release out last night.

Yeah, all builds expire on the 11th of each month.

New build is mostly bug fixes and memory fixes. Also some backend account stuff which isn't exposed yet.

Do we know what bug/memory fixes? Like the clock widget and needing to change themes every reboot?

It seems a little less responsive, but that might also be my phone, because I changed kernels yesterday which might have caused it.

Clock widget is supposed to be fixed (12pm, 0pm) but didn't get installed in time yesterday to check.

The lag appears to be worse than the prior version and still getting the screen redraws (BB 0.4 and Sapphire 1.0)
