Google Calendar not updating

Description

I just installed the updated version this morning from Android Market, making sure to disable Sweeter Home before updating and rebooting the G1 after setting SH as the default home program. Also, I'm using a customized version of the caramel theme, with the custom theme file stored on my SD card.

I tried adding an item to my Google Calendar account via the pre-installed android app, but it didn't show in the calendar widget until I went in to the "edit theme" mode and selected the calendar widget. At that point it promptly added the event to the display.

Also, since the caramel theme has the calendar widget on two different screens, I switched to the other screen and saw that it hadn't updated. It seems I have to edit each instance of the calendar widget to get it to update the event display.

It now updates on resume, which should pick up manual calendar changes. Will have to poll to pick up external syncs, which will have to be for a future release.
