Layer Level

Any block you place into the Sweeter Home UI sits on a layer. There are 10 layers, with Layer 1 sitting 'closest to the wallpaper' and Layer 10 being 'closest to the screen'. You can place any number of objects on any given layer.

In Active Mode layers work in a hierarchy, where any layer on a higher level takes visual and interactive precedence over the layers beneath. This stops accidental launches of apps or shortcuts in trays beneath the intended active tray, and also allows you to layer graphics.

When using a large number of trays and widgets on one screen you'll need to carefully consider the layer levels trays sit in to ensure all your trays are usable.
