Receive Shortcuts¶
Receive Shortcuts allows you to send custom icon graphics to a Custom Tray using apps like Better Cut.
To send custom icon shortcuts to the stock Android homescreen, apps like Better Cut actually broadcast the new icon/shortcut to the homescreen app which drops the icon anywhere it can fit (you'll notice when using Better Cut on the stock homescreen the icon doesn't drop into the express location where you long pressed). In order to accommodate this Sweeter Home allows you to set a Custom Tray to Receive Shortcuts, which means that as well as the stock homescreen accepting the shortcut, any Custom Tray in Sweeter Home with Receive Shortcuts set to "Yes" will also accept the shortcut.
It's important to remember that Receive Shortcuts only needs to be set to "Yes" for as long as you need it to 'catch' custom icons you send to it. Once you're finished adding those custom icons, you can set Receive Shortcuts back to "No" so that tray doesn't inadvertently receive shortcuts at a later time.
